A Vero Beach builder, hands-on from first conversation to final walkthrough.

Raised in New Jersey, Rob began his construction career working as a framer while earning his degree from Rutgers College. Over his 30-plus year career, he has built extensively across the country, holding General Contractor licenses in both New Mexico and California, while delivering projects in Austin, Texas, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Marin County, California. In 2006, Rob relocated to his wife’s hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, to raise their family. Following eight years as a Project Manager at Proctor Construction, he joined Builders East as a partner in 2014, taking full ownership of the firm in 2024. Rob’s deep technical expertise spans all facets of high-end residential remodeling and new construction. His commitment to quality craftsmanship also extends to local strategic partnerships as co-owner of a custom cabinetry workshop and a professional painting company in Vero Beach. Outside of building, Rob enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding, hiking, beach days, reading, golfing and cooking for family and friends.

Mark brings over 30 years of local Florida construction experience, specializing in project management, high-end residential builds, and major commercial renovations. Currently serving as Vice President at Builders East, he oversees custom single-family home builds and extensive high-end renovations. Mark’s deep craft expertise includes owning and operating Knot and Splinter Carpentry, where he delivered custom high-end trim installations in John’s Island and surrounding beachside communities. Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years as Assistant Project Manager with Proctor Construction, writing and executing contracts for single-family and multi-family units in Grand Harbor, Orchid Island, and several other ocean front projects.

Sam grew up in southern Pennsylvania, the son of a contractor and a lifelong athlete. When he wasn’t on the ball field, he was on his father’s job sites: commercial restaurant builds and residential remodels. That work carried him through high school and wrapped up with an open remodel of a Sam’s Club. He went on to play collegiate baseball in South Florida, where he earned his degree in business management. A career in luxury sales and hospitality followed, then a decade as a founder across technology, business development consulting, and eventually specialty construction in container housing and structural insulated panel systems. That last chapter pulled him back to building for good. What drew him was the high-touch side of the work: custom homes, real relationships, and projects a family lives with for decades. He joined Dreamstar Custom Homes in Palm Beach Gardens, working on consecutive multi-million-dollar custom estates under the project manager. Sam came to Builders East in 2022 as an assistant project manager and became General Manager in 2026, earning his Certified Building Contractor license to serve as the company’s qualifying contractor. He now directs business operations and field construction across every Builders East project. His focus is straightforward: bring the service standard expected from ultra luxury hospitality into an industry that rarely offers it. A build should feel like a collaboration with someone in your corner, not the story you’ve heard from friends who swore they’d never do it again. Sam and his wife have been married since 2010 and are raising their daughter here in Vero Beach where they’ve enjoyed the warm and welcoming community.
